Bruce Sperry, PA-C

Bruce is a highly accomplished clinician and administrator with over three decades of combined military, private practice, public and nonprofit health care, and most recently, federal government experience. He first graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1986. Then graduated from the University of the State of New York – Regents College with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 1993. Looking to further his education once more, he returned to the University of Utah and graduated with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2001. Now he recently graduated from the University of Lynchburg, in Virginia, with a Doctor of Medical Science, a clinical doctorate for licensed physician assistants. Bruce also holds a subspecialty certification for minimally invasive procedures and urology.

Bruce has a special interest in men’s health issues and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) management and is excited to join Granger Summit Urology – Holladay, working with Steven N. Gange, MD, FACS. Bruce believes that patients should be actively involved in their care and to accomplish this, he informs patients about their choices and invites them to choose the option that is important to them. This shared decision making, or provider-patient decision making, ensures a clear understanding to proceed with treatment or not to proceed. Education and inclusion of the patient in all clinical decision making will be at the forefront of his practice. He is also passionate about providing the highest quality of care in an efficient and compassionate manner.

Outside of medicine, Bruce is married with four adult sons and enjoys spending time with his seven grandchildren.
