Gavin Woods, NP-C
Gavin graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Sports Science from the University of Utah in 2007. He began is career by providing physical therapy and fitness training services before pursuing nursing. In 2018, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Weber State University. He later graduated with a Master’s of Science in Nursing from Graceland University, in Lamoni, Iowa, in 2020. Gavin’s experience in nursing includes pediatric orthopedics at Primary Children’s Medical Center, critical care at the University of Utah Hospital, and orthopedics at The Orthopedic Specialty Hospital (TOSH).
Now Gavin is excited to join Granger Summit Urology’s Advanced Prostate Cancer Center and offer his patients a customized treatment plan, that targets their specific needs. His previous clinical experience, paired with his education, has taught him the importance of patient education. He strives to ensure that every patient is not only familiar with their diagnoses and treatment plans, but are also actively involved in the decision-making process for their individual plan of care.
Outside of work, Gavin volunteers at the Hope Clinic in Midvale, providing healthcare services for the underserved and underinsured in the Salt Lake area. In his free time, he enjoys road biking, weight training, and spending time with his wife and two sons.
