Melissa Wright, FNP-C, is a compassionate and highly skilled Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in urology at Granger Medical Clinic. With a strong clinical foundation in both acute and surgical care, Melissa brings a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to every interaction.

Originally from California, Melissa moved to Utah in 2018 to pursue her nursing career. She gained valuable experience working in a trauma center in the Salt Lake area during the COVID-19 pandemic, where she developed a deep commitment to patient advocacy and high-quality care. Motivated to expand her impact, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Roseman University of Health Sciences in Henderson, Nevada, graduating in 2022.

Melissa’s clinical background includes experience as a nurse practitioner in surgical oncology, as well as post-surgical and trauma reconstruction care. This experience has shaped her detail-oriented, collaborative approach—particularly valuable in managing complex urologic conditions and supporting patients through both procedural and long-term care journeys.

She is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and is dedicated to delivering evidence-based, individualized care. Melissa believes every patient is unique and deserves a tailored care plan. She prioritizes listening, education, and shared decision-making, empowering patients to take an active role in their health.

Outside of the clinic, Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband and their two active boys, often cheering them on at baseball games or riding bikes together. She is also an avid gardener and enjoys cooking with homegrown ingredients, as well as relaxing with a good book or movie. Her passion for service extends globally—she has participated in a medical mission to Kenya, where she provided education, screenings, and basic medical care to underserved communities.
